Giulia joined the Atwater Group in April 2015 as a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) Fellow. She is working in the field of solar fuels and in particular she is focusing on the use of plasmonic nanostructures for hot-carriers generation.
Giulia graduated at ETH Zurich in 2014 in the group of Prof. Poulikakos with an experimental work on plasmonic nanostructures for light absorption and concentration. Previously, with a thesis carried on at EPFL, she obtained her master degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Udine. During her bachelor and master studies she was also a student of Scuola Superiore, a complementary university program for talented students.
