Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio
I am a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). I have been working under the supervision of Professor Miguel Jose-Yacaman in synthesis and characterization of shape and size controlled metallic and bimetallic nanoparticles and atomically précised metallic and bimetallic nanoclusters. My research interest lie broadly in the areas of synthesis of shape and size controlled metallic, bimetallic, tri/multimetallic nanoparticles, investigate the insight phenomena using electron microscopy techniques TEM, SEM, STEM, EDX, HRTEM, electron diffraction, tomography. I am also interested in the investigation of new atomically précised ligand protected metallic and bimetallic nanoclusters (Au, Pd, Pt…) and study the transport behavior of superlattices made from such nanoclusters.
