The Alliance for the Development of Additive Processing Technologies (ADAPT) was started in 2016 with a grant from Colorado’s Advanced Industries Economic Development Program, together with administrative support from Manufacturer's Edge, Colorado's Manufacturing Extension Partnership; cost share from founding members Colorado School of Mines, Lockheed Martin, Ball Aerospace, and Faustson Tool; and a research partnership with Citrine Informatics. This presentation will review the founding of ADAPT, as well as the growth of the center and the return on investment for the state advanced manufacturing infrastructure in the first two years of operations.
