Organic charge-transfer complexes have offered fruitful platforms to approach unique physical properties such as superconductivity, metallicity, photoconductivity, ferroelectricity, magnetoresistance and ambipolar transport properties.The cocrystallization-engineering strategy was reported to be a promising way to modify the charge transport properties of organic conjugated molecules. We have succeeded in switching the charge-transfer nature from p-type to n-type through molecular “doping”. Very recently, we have also shown the successful growth of two different cocrystals of 1:1 coronene-F4TCNQ displaying different electron-transport behaviors by employing the facile solution-processed method with different solvents.
