In this work, Ag/ZnFe2O4/rGO nanocomposites were synthesized and characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD, XPS, BET and TGA. Photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue, methyl orange and rhodamine B dyes under UV light source was studied using the nanocomposites. Nearly perfect degradation of the dyes at varying concentrations was achieved under both UV- and visible light irradiation. The nanocomposites were found to be stable and reusable even after five cycles of adsorption and photocatalytic degradation. The mechanism and kinetics of the photodegradation were also investigated.
